Reclaimed Styrofoam - Follow Up on Stumble Upon Idea Found Last Month

I had found this really great idea on stumble upon and posted the idea last month.  Today I was able to take that idea and turn it into some pretty cool looking stamps that I will later make into card products.

Conclusions:
Foam from take out containers works best!
Glue and Glitter Idea did not work very well at all!
Foam from mushroom containers did not work!
Best results, were free style art combined with Tim Holtz Crackle Paint!

Best Result included the use of Tim Holtz crackle paint, a traced drawing of bird cages and white card stock!

Blue Styrofoam did not work well as it left the tiny dot accents on the paper when stamped.

Free hand worked best, embossing plates left a lot to be desired as
far as how easy it was to imprint the foam.

Bird cage image printed onto copy paper and then traced over with embossing tool.

Once stamped the cages came out beautiful.  The first one was always the best as I later found out!

I started using the embossing plates and copied images because I lacked faith in my own drawing ability, but it was my free hand flowers that turned out to be my personal favorite!

Stay tuned for the card creations I make from this amazing idea!
