This grouping of cards was inspired by a friend of mine who told me her husband, like my own, ends up surrounded by others at gatherings where the conversation always turns to sports. When this happens neither one of our husbands have much interest in the topic and so they tend to wander aimlessly or just lose interest in going to such gatherings. They have even been known to read about sports, even though they are not interested, just so they can talk to others about it.

This group of cards is for all the men in our lives no matter what their interests. Cards, Country, Music, Golf, Wildlife, Tools, The Great Outdoors, Nautical or Old Fashioned Cars! Happy Halloween "Pumpkin Seed Cards"

This is my favorite quote!  It reminds me always how precious life is.  This design was inspired by this quote and is complete with a "Celebrate Sunshine" message inside.  The card is best given in person, not in an envelope as the 3D wings add to the design, but can be mailed as well.

Pack Your Suit Case

One of my favorite places on earth is Disney World!  This card design was inspired by this love or as some would call it, obsession.  The design in the background is an up cycled Walt Disney World Theme Park map.  The letter brads correspond to a Disney acronym.  For example the MGMS on one card stands for MGM Studios.  The suit case appearance is created through the use of distressed cutting, inking and painting.  They are the most labor intensive card I have made to date.

Boys and Their Toys

No matter what age, Boys love trucks!  This dump truck card can be used for any occasion as there are no words inside or out.  I have used it as a gift tag, a Birthday card and a Father's Day card!  I even had a friend hang them all over her son's Birthday party as decorations.  If you are interested in them as decorations they can be ordered that way.

A Simple Thank You!

I don't know about you, but saying Thank You is a priority of mine.  I can't make enough Thank You cards.  It is something I deem necessary whenever someone does something nice for you no matter how small it is.  I even routinely send Friend Thank You cards out just to remind my close friends how much they mean to me!  The inside is blank with simple design elements.

Have You Been Through The Spin Cycle?

I created this for our friends who have had it rough lately.  The front has a stamped washing machine with added detail of laundry in the machine.  Buttons complete the design with carefully placed colored strips and ribbon for texture.  The inside is blank so the sender can add their personal thoughts.
